When I was planning the renovations for this house, I was pretty much set on the colors I wanted for each and every room - except the master bedroom. However, once I saw the patchwork bedspread in the gift shop of the Great American Dollhouse Museum in Danville, Kentucky, my decision was sealed.
The back area by the windows used to be the bathroom of my old house. When I was contemplating having the bathroom sectioned off for "privacy," I didn't know how it would affect the bedroom, as it took 6 inches away from the space between the two side walls. However, I now had the back area to work with, and that gave the room more depth and a cozier feel.
