DollhouseKitDoor

Creamcheese

I just finished laying my brick floor in the Garfield kitchen. This is a view by the kitchen door. Since there are places that will be difficult to access once the walls are glued; I did the first floor flooring before anything was glued in place. I did the brick work in the basket weave pattern like I did in the SF 2012 sunroom. The bricks are all sealed and mortared! Laying each tiny brick took the most time and making sure that everything was lined up in a straight line so I used an emory board as my spacer! I used a foam brush to apply the mortar and then wiped off any excess with a dampened sponge. Since I love to cook and bake I had to make my dollhouse kitchen inviting (even though the Victorians had help and their kitchens were rather plain)!
