faerie manor bees nest

Love it! I have a couple of these that are really good sized like this one. I've been saving them for years for just the right project. I keep thinking it would be neat to cut one into cross sections, but I'm not sure what to cut it with.

Ive used a few of them in this house, and the only thing I can say is don't get them too wet with paint,etc or they kind of disintegrate. Spray paint works better than brush painting. I wouldn't say theyre super delicate but they kind of get mushed up with too much handling. I cut parts of this one away with sharp sewing scissors.
