jrchob 743 Posted August 6, 2013 Magnificent!!! Ditto for each photo you just posted. What did you use on the 2nd floor ceiling? Nice effect. Quote Link to comment
Jo Med 1,017 Posted August 6, 2013 Thanks Janet. I used a white ceiling paper with a small embossing and then I painted it with wood stain a couple of times, once with walnut and once with antique pine. I stippled the stain with a sponge. Quote Link to comment

rackey 1,259 Posted April 11, 2014 I am actually beyond words. They all sound like cliche, as none that I can think of would really describe this. You should enter this in a contest or put it on display someplace, even if it is in your local library for a few months. Quote Link to comment
Jo Med 1,017 Posted April 11, 2014 Thank you so much Maureen, you have brightened up what was promising to be a rather disappointing day. Quote Link to comment
Soapz 710 Posted April 11, 2014 I am in awe of your talent - and I really mean that. I know what effort goes into that level of craftsmanship - something I consistently try and usually not achieve. Your flickr photostream about this roombox was actually the first I stumbled across a few years back and thought: I want to be able to do something like that - your box was the primary reason why I didn't sell my old dollhouse kit and started building it a few month back. And no, it is nowhere near this - I'll call it the 'trial and error house' and I'm okay with that. (And no, I'm not fishing for compliments here.... hahaha). So far, all of your work I've seen is leaving me with this "I want this, this and that - oh, and also everything else you made" thought - whether it is your dolls, the shop, the box, the windows - I check your gallery every time I log on - and those images brighten my day every single time. The sheer beauty of them is awe inspiring to me. Thank you for sharing these treasures with us. Quote Link to comment
Jo Med 1,017 Posted April 11, 2014 Wow, thank you so much Chris. To think that I have actually inspired someone to build a dolls house is awesome. Happy dancing now. 1 Quote Link to comment
