Spring Fling 2013

Dalesq

My EasyCutter arrived before the weekend! At first I thought "Oh No! I wasted money on a tool I can't use!" Because when I tried to squeeze the devise to cut the woodsies' ends, it was too hard on my hands. But then I discovered I could lift the stick toward the blade while squeezing the grips with the other hand, and I was able to cut the end off hundreds of the darn sticks without too much discomfort. I'm not sure that's the way to use this tool, but it works for me! :)

Great job! I've found my easy cutter works best in certain spots on the blade. For really stubborn sticks, I flip it over halfway through and go at it from the other side. Isn't it amazing how much easier it is to use this than a miter saw?? Oooof.

Thanks for the tip Blondie! These sticks are tongue depressor size since its for the SF, but this tool will be really handy for half scale trim. :)
