Tennyson: full left.

It's hopefully difficult to make out here, but that left side is testament to a tough lesson that I learned on this house-- don't use wood glue to glue siding! It's too watery, and makes the siding split. Gave me fits!

The base is covered with a paint-sand mixture; hopefully it will be more durable than my Magnolia's paperclay base treatment, which I really liked but which chipped during shipping...

I don't use the other glues either :) I use the clear glue Greenleaf sells on their site. It's like Quick grip but you get more of it. Your way sounds neat too! I really love your house.
