Yesterday was my first attempt at figuring out a pattern with a border. The border will continue into each room where I will change up the colors and patterns, I have tried a few patterns in the foyer, like a diamond outline in the center but didnt like it with the darker tiles that I used, will keep playing until I get it right.

I forgot to mention the stairway is not glued in yet so I will pull it out to work on everything once I have the layout I want.
