Thanks Debora. I used normal moulding at the top and then put some embossed timber strips from our local DIY giant underneath that to give it the depth that I wanted. Tricky cutting mitres in all the tiny pieces to go round the top of the columns but I'm pleased with the result.

Glad you like the houses, I always admire American houses which are so different to ours. I suppose when you are familiar with a design it becomes commonplace.
