Tower bay

Jo Med

This is the second lot of wallpaper I've put in here. The colours ran on the first lot as a result of all the fiddly stuff round those windows. I'm wondering whether to put some border around the top on the windows too but still undecided.

The panels of the window seat will be upholstered and then attached to the supports which are fixed on the walls with the stuff they use to fasten toddlers shoes or sneakers - forget what its called. The base is made from mahogany and just finished off with linseed oil. I may give it a wax polish tomorrow.

This is beautiful. Really like the interaction of the prints and colors.

(Velcro- it came out in shoes after I taught the 4 girls to tie!)

Thanks Sue and Brae. I think the problem for me is that these windows have no trims and it was hard to get the wallpaper fitting perfectly so the idea of a border round the tops was to cover any gaps or bits of polyfilla peeking out - you know how things niggle away at you.
