WyckedWood

I made some antique looking books today, using a kit by etsy seller LDelaney...the kit comes with 120 books so I should have plenty to stack around wherever I need them.

Looks good! I like her kit, but just cut out covers for about a sixty books, so maybe next time. Love your table...it's funny, I new this was your work from the gallery shot at the top of the forum!

Thank you Patricia:) Kelly, did you get the blue ones or the tan ones? These are the tan/brown ones but I was able to pick out the more pink and creams from the set for a shabby chic grouping...although I wish she would do a shabby chic colored set. I like the kit but I substituted tacky glue for the hot glue and made the spine separately and a few other things different but I am really happy with it. I want to get the blue set too.

Debora, I am "printer challenged" and have never been able to print the right sizes or find the right images and I didn't want to use all of my ink so this kit was a really good solution for me.

mine are tans and browns.... I am making them for my Glencroft... the homeowner is into dragon research... so I thought more antique-y looking books would suit him :)

I just got one of her kits! I expected it to be much more difficult. Mine are assorted colors, mostly darker ones. I can't wait to get them finished!
