Here is a picture of my "made from rubbish and scraps" and still unfinished table lamp. I wanted to make some quirky looking objects for this build as the family were clearly insane and as it was probably an inherited character flaw, I'm sure they would have had lots of strange objects handed down in the family. The only thing I bought for this was the little horse charms but the seller ran out of stock so I'm still waiting for the last 2 before I can finish it. I think I will probably change the jump rings too as they look a bit bigger than I'd envisaged in my head.

I love what you did! I think it is great to have pieces that no one else will have. I really like the way this turned out.

This is pretty neat! I had no idea you had made it until I read the description, the photo caught my interest. It's very unusual looking and attractive.

Thanks Pat and Debora, yes, that's exactly what I wanted - a few strange objects d'art. Not a great picture above but you can see where I'm going.

just right for those old insane oldies and lovely is the table too.

As far as the horses...I cannot realize how big they are but, just in case, you could look for those miniature horses used by wargamers...scale...well, a man is 1" tall, there is an endless variety of poses.

As usual...I like what you made! :-)
