You used this for your deck leaves. I read some pretty bad reviews about how well it cut through wood. How would you review it? I'm trying to decide what kind of tools to get.

I have no complaints. It did a wonderful job for me, and I'm a complete novice with power tools. Here's my modest review before I truly worked with it. What sort of issues did you read about?
