Cassie dollhouse - window shades

Clever idea! They look good.

I had bought a set of four placemats to make shades for my Hillside Victorian after getting the idea from someone here. (They were cheap, it might have been at Big Lots.) I haven't gotten that far yet so I gave one of the placemats to Mom. My dad came up with the idea for how to hang them (he's an engineer!) as well as another method that I think will look even more realistic. He sent me a diagram with instructions - I'll post it on my blog at some point in case anyone wants to give it a try.
