Tudor Bath Option 2

pdlnpeabody

This is the room with the expanded floorplan. It wouldn't take too much extra work, but the tub would no longer align with the window behind it.

I really like being able to see the whole tub. Aligning with window may not be a problem when you get around to decorating. I can see a hanging fern or ivy to the left of the window and maybe flowers in a pot on the edge of the tub to the right of the taps to soften the angular lines. By the time some colorful towels and other accessories are added, the window won't loom quite so large.

Would you keep the posts in the current location?

I would keep the 3 visible columns as they appear above, but rebuild the arches. Instead of one large arch flanked by two small ones, I'll built it with two large arches between the two narrow ones. extending it to the far wall and adding an additional column to balance it out.

I like it this way, it looks very nice! I think the non-centered window can be addressed with decor.

This is a fabulous house, I am enjoying seeing it all come together!
