Bookcase

A plain old bookcase from Houseworks painted black and trimmed with bits of laser cut trim picked up on ebay and then highlighted with gold and a few jewel colours. I wanted this to look a bit like an old Indian carved bookcase - or Moroccan. The books are all handmade and individual but they are now glued in place as I got fed up of them falling all over the place every time I moved it. You can see through to the entrance hall where there is another mask on the wall. This was another ebay find a long time ago. The light fitting in the entrance hall was made from a goldfishbowl and some jewellery fixings.

Thanks Brae and Kelly. I think this is one of my favourite pics too. Sometimes they just work and you can't figure out exactly why.
