Cottage Inside

I threw a bamboo coaster in for kicks to see how it would look with an area rug. The floors were actually stained. It was the first time I had used that particular stain and I don't really like how it came out. Bamboo floor in the front room was fun trying to fit into the bay area. I like how the roof turned out. I will take some good pics with a camera (rather than my phone) after I get the finishing touches done in a day or so.

I realize the shingles are off a little on this side.I had a little "helper" from the neighborhood. It is a long story, but it made her day. She was actually part of the inspiration for this going to the battered women's shelter. Since this was for donation, I wasn't too worried about it. I actually had to take some upside down ones off and replace them. I am glad I use hot glue for the shingles. ;)
