Beacon Hill - Roanoke, VA - October, 2011

Gonzo

This little beauty came to me through a work acquaintance. He knew I was into minis and had a friend selling a kit. I was "ambushed" outside an office in Roanoke as the guy thought I agreed to buy it. I hadn't even spoken to him. I threw a $50 figure at him thinking he would balk. I barely got the amount out before he yelled "SOLD!" It came with eight furniture kits.

the sides and floors were hot glued together. I spent an hour and a half in my hotel room with a clothes iron heating it up and pulling it apart. I only uploaded one pic, but TSA put a huge amount of tape around it. It is a good thing the boxes aren't collector items. :)

Three on a plane and one in the trunk of a rental car. I shipped the last one because it was too tough to try to lug through the airport with my foot in a boot cast. It was still pretty cheap with my corporate acct rate and it showed up in two days.
