Draw Lines

Since my Houseworks kit is made of a lovely, smooth wood and I am having a hard time finding half-scale flooring, I have decided to score and stain the kit floors. I started by checking out the GL tutorial by Deb Roberts. I am lucky enough to have a clear acrylic quilting ruler, but I worry about snagging my x-acto knife and knicking the edges of it, so I drew the lines with a pencil first.
