Not sure about the ice box either

I love my dark walnut "double" ice box.... but there really isn't much room .... I may switch out the stove for a Chrysnbon one

Love it! I'm going to guess that when ice boxes started being added to kitchens they seemed to take up a lot of space, so you may have created a very authentic feeling here!
