'Metal' Siding

I measured the width of the 'seams' of metal siding on our RL vintage camper. They were 3" wide. I scored red and white card stock every 1/4 inch and glued them to cardboard. Then I cut a 1/8" strip of silver metallic card stock for the trim, and put a coat of gloss mod podge over the siding for a metal effect. I think it comes pretty close to the RL Shasta.
