Vintage table clocks
I was recently contacted by a fellow miniaturist on etsy to make a few vintage table clocks for her clock shop project. I gathered my wood bits, jewelry findings and paints to see what I could come up with for her.
First, a tiny red alarm clock that stands just 5/8" tall. It's made from a rounded wood cap from Hobby Lobby, Tiny Turnings for the feet, two goldtone brads and a gunmetal head pin. The face is a printed image from The Graphics Fairy with a clear cabochon sticker to simulate glass. I love this one especially, so I'll probably make a one for my own project.
Second is a black art deco clock that stands 5/8" tall. It's made from wood window casing strip wood with front carved detailing. There's a silver brad topper, and the face is a printed image of a real life wall clock found online. The silver frame is a finding from Bindels Ornaments.
And, last is a wood stained decorative clock with pillar detailing. This measures 1" wide and just under 3/4" tall. This is also wood, and the pillars are Tiny Turnings. This also has a cabochon sticker over the face, an image from a real life floor clock.
