This is the second floor. I'm thinking it will be a sitting area. I'm not using this fireplace, there is just a very ugly bare spot that I wanted covered for the pictures. The floor is made of a slate I got at a hardware store and smashed with a hammer (very fun). I painted the walls with dark blue and then added tiny silver stars all over. The curtains aren't finished yet either. I'm not sure I like the red.
