Bedroom

prettyinscarlet

im still unsure at the paper in this room.. my intention was for just a feature wall in this baroque style paper but ended up all out - im hoping that one i have the white wardrobe in the back left there and lots of other bedroom dressings in here like the bedding.. which I'm sewing tonight it wont be so .... ''busy'' on the walls.. still to add dressing table odds and ends and some fotos on the back wall of my idols Marilyn Munroe , Betty Page, Audrey Hepburn, and Judy Garland I made the blinds again from paper and ribbon. the little canvases I used to make all the time.. this one is an ode to my little RL dog Hugo..

I think once everything is up on the walls (and especially if the bedding is kinda plain) the wallpaper will be balanced out. The dog painting is the coolest - you should make more and sell them on etsy. I know modern minis are pretty sought after and hard to find.

I'm sewing plain white Bedding and pillows with a few more pink scatter cushions .. Fingers crossed it tones it down a little :) the painting is a copy of Picasso's Dachshund.. its such a great simple image and i was trying to break up that black pattern.. :)

I love the wallpaper! I have something like that at home that I was going to use on my Beacon HIll, but didn't know where to put it, but I had thought of putting it halfway up the walls in a room with a trim piece then a solid color for the tops of the walls. It works nicely in your room especially with the whites that will break it up.
