I gently applied wood glue to the flat sides of the hinge and to the screws themselves and allowed the glue to dry. Just gluing the hinge will also work, but I want this sturdier than scale hinges. If you are using scale hinges, line them up evenly and glue. Allow the glue to dry before inserting the brads.
