An idea crossed my mind, I built a large doorway between rooms, because I love to look through doorways. I built one for each side of the great room, in this picture I stacked them trying to imagine a balcony over looking the great room. nothing is plum straight here because the top door was actually cut to fit the opposite side of great room toward dining room.

any thoughts?
