Owen Wolffe was feeling an aimlessness in his life that was depressing. His beloved wife of 40 years had struggled bravely, but lost her battle with cancer. The kids were grown and gone, all with families of their own. Yes, they called once in awhile; but his days were too empty. Sometimes he'd go visit his friends, Bob and Richard, at the Mountain Retreat, taking his dog, Smokey, along for the ride. <br>
