In Little House in the Big Woods, pa and Pa sleep in a bed and Mary and Laura sleep in a trundle bed. The bed is on the same floor as everything else, and the attic is used to keep foodstuffs.

I had hoped to remain loyal to the text, but I eventually had to move the beds upstairs.

The attic was huge and it had nothing in it, and the first floor was really crowded.

I guess it's OK if my dollhouse isn't 100% loyal to the book's description. I am still having fun with it!
