Lights are glued in the dining room

The lights are finally glued in place. They had this weird foamy sticky base that made them stick out from the wall too much.. i ripped that off and glued them to the wall directly.

I hadn't really had issue with the foam prior to now because all my lights were in paperclay, I guess it's to provide a spacer for wall coverings.. but it's so hard to get off !
