The sleigh

This will live in the workshop on the ground floor of the Russian Lodge along with other stable type paraphernalia.

I used a Dolls House Emporium santa's sleigh as the basis but modified the body using a combination of wood, cardboard and polymer clay. The seating is very soft leather. I still have some work to do but I'm waiting for supplies - a couple of coach lamps and maybe something decorative to go on the sides.

Thanks Jen and Karin. I made it for my aristos in the Russian lodge but I could equally see some wicked sorcerer or vampire whipping the horses into a frenzy and flying over the snow covered roads - its quite gothic I suppose. It could be a corpse sleigh - a demon undertaker - lol - stop it Jo, you really DON't want to make another of these.

LOL... I could envision you vampire and the frantic horses flying over the snow scene.... LOL... this is gorgeous Jo.... really amazing

Thank you everyone, my coach lamps arrived today but I think I'll just cut the wires off and have them as non-working lights.
