1920s porcelain Kohler kitchen sink

otterine

I bought another item for the haunted Heritage: a 1920s porcelain Kohler kitchen sink by Jacqueline Kerr Deiber. I've always liked the look of this sink but never thought I'd build a house to use one in since I usually make modern minis. I thought about making a room box, though, just to have one of these marvelous sinks for myself. I've done a bit of research and discovered that 1920s kitchens didn't have wallpaper but were painted in solid colors. Since practicality really isn't important in miniature, I might still go with one of my wallpaper choices even if it isn't historically accurate. After all, I am building this as art for myself not as a replica.
