Kitchen cabinets

MiniCrazy

I've started building my kitchen cabinets. I'll be painting them white. I haven't decided what to use for counter top yet. Any ideas?

There are some good marble papers and granite papers, as well as the tiles that have sticky backs. Some people have also used the sample tiles that are hard (you can find them at Home Depot and Lowes in the flooring department)

Your cabinets look awesome though!

They look great!

I just made a couple of countertops out of mat board - super easy and you can paint them whatever color/texture you want.

Janet that's pretty much what I ended up doing. I cut them out of very thin wood and used a lot of layers of paint. You can't see it in these pics but I sprayed a very thin layer of Gold spray glitter over them and then several layers of Poly. I was going for a glass finish. Not there yet, a few more layers.
