The front pic i sent in for the contest.&lt;br&gt;<br />The short story of Cutty's (will have more info on blog). Cutty (Earl L. Cuthbertson) is/was a man of the world and a bit of an artist. He built this place and eventually brought back the idea for fish and chips (decades before it really hit the UK) from one of his travels. His wife is now responsible for keeping the fish and chips going. Cutty has been gone for 7 years now and his wife, Mary Elizabeth, is not sure if he is dead or just still traveling! Her favorite story is The Odyssey so she envisions he will return one day...meanwhile there are always men willing to help out around the place, doing the fishing, because Cutty was just so well loved by everyone who knew him. so the men help with fishing and fixing things in exchange for a place to stay.

I love the dock, too. And your weathered wood looks so authentic! There are a lot of buildings like this in the fishing towns on the Gulf Coast here and let me tell you, you really nailed it!

Thank you all! and Mom....thanks! i was just delving into my brain remembering the feel and look of weathered salty wood, so glad to hear i was at least a bit accurate!

Thank you all!!! and Charlan, Jo and I both discussed how, as doll makers, we HAD to have dolls in our SF LOL while no one may notice, we would, if there were no dolls..so thank you all for noticing the people!
