Madame Puddifoot's Tea Salon - Hogsmeade, UK - Progress Picts

biomom

I was blown away by Madhatter's two Harry Potter-themed shops...and even though I could never come close to that artistry, I thought it would be fun to try to fashion a dollhouse in a similar way. I loved the half-scale laser cut Diana and it just screamed "tea salon" to me. I created the stone work with paper clay (thanks to those who described their use of it as well as different paint washing techniques). I'll try to take some outdoor pictures later so you can see the true colors (which get washed out with the flash). I still have to add trim, do roof, and other finishing touches.
