<p>Finally got the rest of my mortar mix and finished the front facade. Learned a great deal with this part of the project, like....less is more. Especially when you&#39;e using mortar mix. The next time around IF and that&#39;s a real big if, I&#39;ll use a syringe to &quot;Pipe&quot; in the mortar instead of spreading it on with a sponge brush. This stuff is monstrous to get off of a surface once it goes on. &lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;Update on the syringe method - it doesn&#39;t work.&nbsp;&nbsp;No matter how much you thin the mortar or how big you make the syringe opening it will not flow through.</p>
