Master Bed

Can't even tell the bay is a different paper at all, much less upside down. Had to use scrap wood to do the last 3 rows in the back plus the bay area. Doesn't bother me a bit.

Nope- can't tell at all! :thumb: I really like how you adjusted the wall to make this room much bigger! Might have to try that the next time.

That's one of the things I really like about this house. The windows are spaced so that you can move those dividers around to your liking. For this one, I think the bedroom now has enough space to include a small sitting area.

At one time (when I still thought I might use the stairs), I had both dividers making a wee hallway up here but it made the room so small I couldn't get a decent double bed in there.

I wish there was a way to move that wall over and still be able to use the stairs in mine but I can't think of any way to do it. I am changing all the windows in mine to traditional pediment windows so it won't look like my other Princess Annes. I'll try and put in pics when they come. I ordered them on the HBS sale this past week.

For my 1st PA, I thought about making a hallway just for the stairs (then creating 3 rooms on that floor) and it looked very nice but the bay-window room was just too small for what I had in mind.

If I can ever find a 3rd PA, I'm going to try it. Just not sure what I'll do with that bay window room... maybe if it only had a single bed? Dunno.

I know what you mean about the matchy-matchy windows. I don't mind having the same ones on the 1st & 2nd because they are soooo polar opposite (red/black vs ivory/iris). But a 3rd one would be kinda hokey. I do love the windows though. Those and the Yorktown pediment are just my fave.
