Okay, this robin's egg blue is NOT the color. Its a bit more subdued, purple-grayish, not bright. Since the windows are my favorite part, I just had to go ahead and paint one to see what it would look like.

While I love the color for the outside, the color will not match either the master bed or the attic striped room. Not sure if I'm going to paint the insides of those windows a different color or just let some curtains cover it up.

I absolutely agree about the differences. My 1st PA was black and dark red with a black/ivory interior. This one is all fluff. I'm hunting for a 3rd PA (I'm really in love with the large rooms and those beautiful windows) and am hoping to do it strictly for Christmas.
