Not Sure Yet

I have no idea what to do with this room. I don't really want another bathroom. I may - gasp - actually go for a nursery. I dunno.

If I can find another one, I'll grab it because its such an easy build, the rooms are generous and I'm absolutely in love with the windows.

The first one was a bakery with exterior trim of black and dark red (ivory siding). The interior was all black and ivory with splashes of dark red and some aqua to boot.

This one will be a lighter shade of ivory and exterior trim of a smoky blue (the same color as my bedroom, where this will reside) and a paler blue. Totally different.

My next one? Who knows. Might go contemporary (surely not everyone who has a Painted Lady in San Fran decorates in Victorian style) or farmhouse or possibly even succumb to the wealth of supplies out there and actually do a Victorian house.

The worst part of the build on all three PAs is the dormer roof pieces. They are not beveled where they join the main roof and never really make a good bond. I know they won't fall off but I feel I have to use some thin strip wood to close the gaps. Haven't decided on the balcony yet. The other two don't have it. Yours is looking great.

I'm not a huge fan of assembling and THEN papering ('cause I stink at it) so I, too, always have that issue with the gable/dormer pieces. In my last one, I used some strip wood to cover up the seam... this was especially necessary since I like to use an accent paper rather than the same paper as the main walls.
