To make the step i used some scrap brick sheeting and covered the sides with it. then i used some scrap peel-and-stick tile to make the top of the step and gave it a slight overhang. I ended up not using my original carriage lights on the front of the house. they were black and didnt show up well on the stonework, they were also too small. i ended up just using one of them on the side door. The plaque the numbers are on is a small picture frame necklace charm from AC Moore. I sprayed the whole thing black and glued the numbers on. all the black accents such as the eagle, window boxes, and raised panels are glued on now.
