Actual working lights!

(we also have xmas lights going around the house, but they were switched off)

You can see the mess of wires coming downstairs.. sigh... that's what you get when your daughter decides on electricity AFTER I wallpapered...

She has some of the new furniture in, she's gotten a few pieces from her advent calendar.

I'll have to take a new photo after Christmas once it's all pretty. I'll try to have the chimney painted by then too :)

Oh and the kids are on their backs as they apparently raided the freezer and ate ALL the ice cream... sore tummies now.. and a miffed mom...

Wow, this is a great picture! I love the effect of the lights! Nice job!

The story about those kids is hilarious! I remember having had my share of ice cream tummies! LOL!! Especially after a visit to Grandma's house!
