Debora59 2,608 Posted January 30, 2011 Ok, which do YOU think, in the front that juts out should I make it the same height as the rest of the roof or drop it down just a little way, like 1/3 the way down? Quote Link to comment
Libby 153 Posted January 30, 2011 I llike it the same height. But it will be fabulous either way. You are going to use slate for the roof right? Are you going to add dormer window like in the picture you posted? Quote Link to comment
floiceland 20 Posted January 30, 2011 I agree with Kim. Weathered copper would be great too. Quote Link to comment
minifan 9 Posted January 30, 2011 I've been waiting for this picture!!! BEAUTIFUL!!!Are you cutting this all yourself? Quote Link to comment
Debora59 2,608 Posted January 30, 2011 Thank you, yes I am cutting this all myself. for Christmas my husband bought me a miniature hand held circular saw, and he reminded me last night I would want to bevel my cuts so they fit together better, and they do. I planned to use a blue gray color, with green patina accents, like my front door on the Worthington. To me thats slate colored. but as for the shape of the shingles I am at a loss until I study those french roofs again 1 Quote Link to comment
