painted exterior 4 times already

Well, I am trying to settle on the exterior color scheme. first it was too yellow, then too peachy and this is more like the time period, but what is the best way to weather it? Sponge paint it with some faint colors maybe.

Also I was leaning to a flat roof with a glass dome to let light into open staircase. but most 17th & 18th century french chateaus have that lovely high peaked roof in a beautiful blue gray that sets off the stone exterior So now it will be interesting to see which wins out.

Debora this is a wonderful project! This house is very grand indeed! I think that you will find interesting(but I am afraid too expensive)the work of John & Hodgson UK. They have some exquisite baroque and rococo french and english miniature reproductions. They are among my favorites artisans, though I believe that they are too expensive...I' ll make an album with some pieces of their work.

Of course I'm wild about slate-like roofs...Is there a way the two (slate and

glass ) could be incorporated???? Just wondering...... :huh:

I think there maybe, not sure yet but I looked at the inspiration chateau at the start it shows a roof option that might incorporate both.
