For those that have not worked in quarter scale I stuck the tape measure in for reference. It is TINY !!!

These new pics show how far I am now...still have alot to do.The house is still in dry fit.The roof will be removable, after I finish it,that is  The top floor is removable to give better access to the second floor. The bay windows will come out to get to the "hidden" master bedroom.First floor is living room and kitchen /dining combo.Second floor is 2 bedrooms and a bath.Third floor is a LARGE bedroom,a small sitting area off the BR,a bath and a laundry room.I also added two windows to the third floor. When glued and trimmed it will be pretty straight and gaps sealed...right now...welll

I'm very pleased,I love this tiny scale !!!! :)

Goodness you are fast, April! I wish I could work this quickly. It all looks great, too!

You know, this is the perfect size house for a couple of country field mice, heehee..I think half scale is too big.

Maybe you should try making a little mousie couple to live in your newest scale home? One of these days I'll have to try a teeny mouse house..they look like such fun.

Great Job!

Joane,Roxy,Alexander,Chris,Janice,Jeanne and Beverly......so many comments were posted to this that I decided to thank you all at one time :) Thank you !!!!!! I was amiss at not repling individually and I apologize :)

To clairify some things for anyone wondering. If I had built this little kit as it was meant to be,it would have been a 4 walled, closed building with a firehouse on the bottom and Town Hall on the second and third floors. All that is inside I made,everything....

The second and third floor are foam core, the interior walls are reinforced cardboard.I had to use cardboard due to the fact I had no way to cut wood this small. The cardboard is quite stiff once you glue two pieces together and put printie wallpaper on one side. The white interior trim is thin strps of cardstock, skewers and tiny balsa. The cardstock helps to pull it all together moreso than regular trim in my opinion. The stairs are balsa and foam core....I will probably use wood on the next one...

Anyway,hope this explains things :)
