I put a house number on but you may not be able to see it. One of my old Country Sampler mags had these house numbers that are on boards. I just cut out the pics and put them on doll house scrap wood. I made three of them. I get lots of pics etc in Country sampler. They usually shoot their pics straight on and it's to scale so it's a good way to get lots of pics for the houses.

What did you use on the roof? I want the roof of my vermont jr.. to be that dark, but all the shingle dyes I have seen are too brown. My house will be almost the same color blue, I love it!

I just painted the shingles with dark blue, the same as the shutters. After the paint dries I lightly sand it to bring out the shape of the shingles.
