Kitchen & Laundry Paper

The appliances are going on the back wall. I have the white beadboard with "granite" set from Hobby Builders and thought the black & tan striped paper would make a good backdrop to the marbled tan colors of the granite. I may end up painting the set a bit more ivory rather than stark white.

The other walls of the kitchen (as well as the laundry) are just a pale tan dot on ivory. That laundry room is so narrow that I didn't want to darken it with anything busier.

I like what yoru doing here, building a model with the foam core board first really lets one visualise the entire project and thus ensure you will be happy with end result [ thats exactly what I did, before I cut the wood ]
