Eaves trim in black

I think the colors you've chose are perfect ( I like red doors, so I'm partial...but wood stain would be lovely too!) The trim on the gable really finishes it, and the ornmaments really dress up the sides! Love this little cottage

Wowsers, that red door look just fabulous!

I glued the shutters to the window frames instead of the house. That way it looks like they can really be closed and meet in the middle.
