Brushed nickel hardware
The doorknobs are the white enameled kind from HBS, and the doorplates are brass from Clare Bell Brass. I sprayed the doorplates with flat black and then used Valspar Odds 'n' Ends Fast Dry Enamel in Chrome on both the primed doorplates and the 'as is' white doorknobs. I wouldn't call the finish 'mirror chrome' but it works well as a mimic for a brushed nickel finish. I indented the wood behind the keyhole and painted it black before gluing the hardware in place.
