2010 second day of demolition

Kari Lynn

Ouch :( , it hurt so much taking things apart and sawing things off this house that I know my dad painstakingly put together 30 yrs. ago. I did get his permission though to remodel the house. He had no problem with it.

From the album:

1979 My first dollhouse

But, think of it this way...letting it languish unused and worn is a worse fate. I'm sure your dad will delight in your progress, watching you make it a thing of beauty once again! :D Keep us posted.

Ooh - I bet it was hard to start! But every house deserves a little renovating after thirty years (My RL house certainly could)

Think how ;pleased you'll be when you're done. :)

Yup! It was hard to start, taking that hammer and smashing away parts of the house was just downright painful. But you are definately right, Janet, every house does deserve renovating after thirty years. The great thing with the dollhouse is I can make more of my dreams for it come true than I can for my RL house. It is much less expensive, I can do most of the work myself and it is alot more fun than working on the RL house. :D
