21- Mirrored Back

CheckMouse

Because this is a small house, and the shelf space is limited, I have not planned for it to be turned around. But not wanting to lose the detail on the inside, I had a mirror custom-cut to fit the open side. I also added electric lighting, since I don’t want to keep up with changing batteries all the time! The mirror is directly behind the white sofa; so everything else is actually in front. I love the illusion of a large, spacious lounge!

Claudia, that's one fabulously brilliant idea to have a mirror cut to fit the back and reflect all the interior detail. I just have to copy that with mine I hope you don't mind - its inspired. I would never have thought of that.

Feel free :p I first put some mirror-tile-squares behind it but they didn't work very well; besides being the wrong shape. Miniatures is all about illusion anyway, isn't it??
