Inside the bait and tackle

jandjhartley

I moved the outdoor chair inside for this shot. I made almost everything else in there. I made the parquet flooring using strips of veneer, not an easy process, but it turned out alright. I made all of the little teeny tinies on the wall, including the cork boards they're on. I also made the little boxes and everything in them, the reels, sinkers, floaters...also the life jackets, signs, anchors, red toolbox. I also really like how the screne in the front window turned out. Instead of setting the interior frame at the bottom (the way the instructions told us to) I put it half way up and added screne in the lower half.

Awesome!

I'm impressed with all the fishing gear you made. You have a great eye for detail. I also adore the colors you used for the exterior, and the combination of the building with the light house. What a lovely entry for the Spring Fling competition.

Thanks! The colors were easy to come by...My little guy wanted to imitate the lighthouse by Grandma and Grandpa's cottage. It is called Red Rock Lighthouse also, so we did the colors just like it! I got a lot of the details out of a dollhouse magazine that I bought at least 3 years ago! Tons of fun little projects and how tos in it!!!
