Sanding

After installing the shingles I sanded them down as much as I could with my Dremel. They still need more sanding, but I have to wait until my palm sander arrives so I can finish the job. Meanwhile, I followed a sanding tip I got from "Cranky" (Dave) on the forum and after sanding, I brushed all the sawdust into any cracks or spaces between the shingles to fill them in and give a uniform appearance. So far so good. The next step is to finish sanding and then varnish.
